Asia Mideast Insurance and Reinsurance Pty Ltd (AMIR)  Established in 1997, AMIR is an underwriting agency acting on behalf of certain syndicates at Lloyd's of London and specialised local insurers. The company is an approved cover holder of Lloyd's. Our main objective is to work with brokers, insurance agents and other associations to develop innovative insurance schemes for specialist or niche markets. We currently hold a number of binding authorities in specialised classes of insurance, whilst our wholesale division provides access to a range of other quality niche products. It is our strong relationship with the international reinsurance market, which enables us to gain support for innovative solutions and we are always happy to consider new opportunities.
